Dinos are so gorgeous. Also, I think it’s interesting that they used the lace painting technique on the drift 240.

The owner of that 240 is a really interesting and cool guy, obviously he’s into drifting, but he has a strong love for pretty much all aspects of car culture. A couple of years ago we were discussing lace paint on hotrods and he was mentioning how he’d really like to figure out how to replicate it for his drift car. A while later i noticed some on his valve cover that he did as a test, but this was my first time seeing it fully in action on his hood and roof.

Also, yeah to those Dinos. I heard a rumor that one of them is still owned by its original owner.

Speaking of which, t he C6 corvette was owned by a guy who worked undercover for the FBI like a decade ago and drove that around as his car for undercover work. He bought it back recently, claiming to be the 6th and 2nd owner of the car.

Lol, probably a lot of people’s other cars are BMW’s. But I don’t really know most of the people that brought cars to this event.

I think i know the owners of two of those cars, the blue nova (actually i think its just a chevy II) and the 240sx. The 240 guy dailys an aristo while the Chevy II guy has a tahoe, but he races a C3 corvette with a BMW engine, so that’s....some BMW.

Heh, believe it or not, McLaren guy dailys that car, while G guy does not (the G makes 550ish hp at the wheels, with a dyno sheet to prove it.)

The Chevy behind both of those cars is also ridiculous. Completely stock looking with a seriously built 327. So much lope. The interior is IMMACULATE too.

Sure, the car was actually featured in a jalopnik article a while back, but here are a few more pictures from lemons last year and a car show this year
